Funding for Volcano dreaming project was made possible by Inspiring Environmental Solutions - EPA's community funding program.
The funding program is a legislative scheme where the 'polluter pays'. a company or individual foud guilty of environment al pollution may be directed to fund a community environmental project instad of, or in addition to, paying a fine.
In December 2008, Tasman Group (now swift Australia) was found guilty of polluting Stony Creek and directed by the Melbourne Magistrates' Court to pay $132,000 to the Iramoo Sustainable Community Centre at Victoria university, St Albans campus.
